Have you ever printed a webpage only for the section of interest not to appear? Maybe, it did appear but scattered across two or three A4 pages! This is when your page needs to be optimised to be "printer friendly".

We have found that the item within a business website that is most likely to be printed out is the map of their location. Customers use these printouts whilst driving so they need to be clear, compact and on a single sheet of A4.

Digital Commitment now offer all visitors to our site a free printer friendly map to include on their website. We call these DigiMapz!

The DigiMap is an Adobe Flash movie with a built in "print" button. Once this button is clicked the map within the movie is automatically scaled to the size of your paper and then printed out. This way the print out does not vary in size from browser to browser and you will not get URL headers or advertisements either.

If you wish to include a free DigiMap on your site, please email digimapz@digital-commitment.co.uk and include your business name, address, postcode and telephone number. We will then send you an email with the webpage in HTML format and your DigiMap movie in SWF format.
